Hedgehog sheath for Ka-Bar 1217

Hedgehog sheath for one of the most popular fighting knives there is, the Ka-Bar 1217 made for the US military and used in WWII. The name ka-bar is caused by a trapper who was attacked by a bear. The moment his rifle refused he has slain the bear with the knife. He described his adventure on a piece of paper and the barely legible words k a bar, meaning killed a bear. From that moment, this is called Ka-Bar knife. The sheath is made of four layers of 8oz vegtanned cowhide and has a real large pocket up front. This sheath can be worn horizontal and there is the possibillity to mount a beltloop for vertical wearing. The color is saddle tan. Totaly handmade and sewed by hand.
